Home Treatre
There is no Cinema in Port Douglas – so we built our own – a genuine indulgence. The Yamaha System is fully integrated and projects onto a 3m screen. The built-in Dolby Surround Sound audio turn this custom designed room into a private theatre, fully air-conditioned for your comfort!
The need to accommodate a large family plus inevitable friends, dictated that the space be generous (around 50m2) with plenty of seating. The “boys” dictated the need for the drinks fridge to be placed close at hand!

The Home Theatre System is set up for Cable; DVD; Video and
normal TV with ports for computer, Digital Camera and video.
Think of your Holiday snaps on a 3m screen.
There is also a 6 stack CD connected to the surround sound – great for parties.

Kitchen
This kitchen is definitely NOT “gourmet” - the gourmands can wait at the solid granite table in the dining room. This kitchen is a Chefs’ delight! |

Silky Oak timber and stone bench tops support the Highland(Gaggenau) gas cooktop, twin Fisher & Paykel ‘fridge and freezer, Miele dishwasher and microwave.
The 900cm Miele oven is not in the kitchen, but outside in the pavilion next to the BBQ and oversized sink – if you can’t stand the heat, get the oven out of the kitchen.

| Even though this is a very practical work area, you are never isolated as it has been designed to be the heart of the entertaining area, central and open to the dining area, pool and pavilion. After dinner whip up a Latte on the espresso machine using one of the delicious Cairns Highland Coffees and a glass of Shannonvale Tropical Port provided by Avalon. |

4 BEDROOMS - 3 Queen + 1 (x 2) Single
Main Bedroom: (Queen) is a true escape! Separate from all other Bedrooms with private shower room and separate WC/Dressing room. This suite also has a study/office area attached leading to a massive walk-in robe and dressing room. Every indulgence has been catered for including 68cm TV; audio system; ceiling fans; air-conditioner – all remote controlled (from Bed!). Only the highest standard bedding and linen has been used, and lots of pillows pandering to the most weary bones.
To complete this ultimate indulgence, just off the bedroom is your personal, private pavilion area with big comfy couches and outside SPA bath – screened for privacy be prehistoric tree ferms, palms and flowering ginger.

This enormous bedroom is bigger than most mains. With its own sitting area it is ideal for a cot or even an extra single. There is direct private access to the bathroom as well as a vanity and basin in the room. Remote from other rooms and very private with its French doors opening onto your own deck floating into the tropical garden.

3rd Bedroom: (Queen)
This generous bedroom overlooks the Tropical rear garden. Private and quiet with lots of luscious timber. French doors open onto an enclosed and screened rear veranda. Great built-ins. Every bedroom has ceiling fans as well as independent air-conditioning to suit your personal comfort. |

4th Bedroom: (2 x singles)
A delightful and fun room containing 2 single
beds and plenty of room to play. Good sized built-ins; ceiling fan and air-conditioning. Sited on the North corner overlooking the garden and across
to the pool area. French doors open into the games/reading area – a “quiet”
zone off the main lounge.

Bathrooms
The sparkling new bathrooms are fresh and airy, designed specifically for the tropics. Crisp and cool and spacious only top of the range fixtures and fittings have been used – include never run out hot water and these bathrooms are a pleasure to enjoy. Don’t forget to experience the shower with no wall. |
